Born in Alliston, Ontario in 1955, Dave has spent the last 70 years doing what he does best: making life better (and funnier) for everyone around him. Whether you know him as Dad, Grandpa, Husband, Brother, Colleague, or Friend, you’ve probably benefited from his bottomless toolbox, his perfectly-timed one-liners, or something delicious he’s cooked up in the kitchen.
He’s a master tinkerer, a storyteller, a generous host, and the kind of guy who’ll drop everything to lend a hand — or at least a well-earned opinion. His signature mix of humour, heart, and hands-on know-how has made him someone we all look up to (even when he's cracking terrible puns).
This weekend, we gather in his favourite place, surrounded by his favourite people, to raise a glass, share a story, and celebrate seven incredible decades of Dave.
