Weather
August tends to be warm during the day, but can get cooler at night. Bring layers!

Comfortable and festive. Think backyard party — sundresses, polos, sandals or sneakers.
Parking
On-site parking is available — we’ll have signs and folks to help direct parking.
Kids
There’s plenty of space to run around, and we’ll have a few activities for the younger guests too.
Travel
From the Halifax Airport( Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes)
- Exit the Airport: Depart Halifax Stanfield International Airport and follow signs to merge onto Highway 102 South toward Halifax.
- Continue on Highway 102 South: Drive for about 30 kilometers.
- Take Exit 4B: Merge onto Highway 101 West toward Bedford/Sackville.
- Continue on Highway 101 West: Drive for approximately 70 kilometers .
- Take Exit 13: Toward New Minas/Canaan.
- Turn Right onto Middle Dyke Road: At the end of the off-ramp, turn right onto Middle Dyke Road.
- Turn Left onto English Mountain Road: After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto English Mountain Road.
- Arrive at 366 English Mountain Road: Continue for approximately 4 kilometers; the house will be on your right.

- Car Rentals: Available at the airport's lower level. Companies include Alamo/National, Avis, Budget, Dollar/Thrifty, Enterprise, and Hertz.
- Taxi Services: Taxis are available at the airport. A one-way trip to Canaan may cost approximately $150–$200 CAD; confirm with the driver.
- Rideshare Services: Uber operates in the Halifax area. Fares vary based on demand and time.
